Why do I ask for
so much information?

Marathon time and race history

The Okinawa Yanbaru Ultra Camp includes a full 100 km road ultra-marathon. This is not a beginner event. I ask for your marathon best time and number of marathons completed to assess whether you are ready for the demands of the program — and to tailor coaching and support accordingly.

This is not a filter to exclude people; it is there to make sure the camp is a positive and safe experience for everyone who joins.

Full name, address, and country

Your full name and postal address are required for two automated processes that take place once your booking is confirmed:

• Generating a legally valid invoice for the deposit and final payment, which must contain your billing address.
• Pre-filling the Waiver of Liability and Service Agreement with your personal details, so you only need to review and sign — without retyping everything manually.

Without a complete address, I cannot issue a proper invoice or pre-fill your legal documents.

Preferred period and companion

I run multiple camps per season with a maximum of five runners each. Knowing your preferred period allows us to suggest the most suitable dates and avoid scheduling conflicts.

The companion question helps us plan accommodation and logistics — companion spots are limited per camp and affect the overall group size and room allocation.

Email address

Your email is used exclusively for booking-related communication: inquiry response, deposit request, document signing link, payment reminders, and pre-camp information. I do not use it for newsletters or marketing.

Additional message

The free-text field is entirely optional. It is a place to mention anything relevant — specific goals, health considerations, dietary requirements, or questions — so I can address these in my reply.
